Welcome Message from Rector
May the Lord Bless you. The people of Grace Church welcome you!
We are the Episcopal Church in West Feliciana Parish. We offer opportunities for worship, life-long learning, discipleship, fellowship, and mission in and through our historic building in St. Francisville and in Laurel Hill at St. John’s. Grace seeks to share Christ’s love with every member of your family. Our traditional Sunday service is at 7:30 AM and our family service is at 10:00 AM.
Join us for our formation programs on Wednesdays nights. “Church Mice” (ages 4-8) and "Church Rats" (9-12) meet from 4:00-6:45 PM during the school year. It offers homework assistance, dinner, fellowship, lesson plan, and a Children's choir. Our adult formation offerings begin with a Holy Eucharist at 5:15 PM, potluck supper at 6:00 PM and study at 6:30 PM.
This is a particularly exciting place for young families and youth. We participate fully in all Diocesan youth events, which include Junior High Rally, Senior High Rally, Happenings, and Work-Service Days. At present, four of our youth are members of the Diocesan Youth Council. We have an ambitious schedule of fun programs for 2012, which include Youth Lock-Ins, weekend rallies, movie nights, and other. Please call us or visit us for additional details.
Adult ministry and discipleship are also a priority for us. Please explore this website for details and feel free to contact us at 225-635-4065 for additional information, to request an appointment with our clergy or staff, to schedule a pastoral care home visit, to place someone in our prayer list, or simply to discuss our ministries and programs. We currently have ministry teams assigned to the Louisiana State Prison (Angola), St. Francisville Country Manor, West Feliciana Food bank, Habitat for Humanity, and our own Good Samaritan Program.
We pray that you will choose to make Grace your home church. May Our Lord Continue to Bless You!
